Liverpool's Star Extends Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has revealed that Mohamed Salah apologised to the group of players following the uproar from his recent interview.

Salah was left out from a vital match after voicing frustrations and stating his connection to the head coach had deteriorated.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has previously declined to reveal on whether he was apologised to from the player.

The player stated that the dressing room atmosphere stayed normal. “He was his usual self, he had a big smile on his face and we all treated him normally,” Jones added.
He also implied that a player's desire to start is a positive trait. “It's clear there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
Positive Results
Their results have been impressive in the period after the initial controversy. He feels the forward's comments were not designed to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, it’s always been from a desire to win,” Jones concluded. “We’re past that now and we’re building chemistry, playing well and starting to win games.”
