Series of Incidents

Since the beginning of the extensive conflict in Ukraine, a series of Russian military officials have been attacked within Moscow.

This latest event comes after other high-profile incidents, such as:

  • General Yaroslav Moskalik was lost his life in a vehicle explosion in Moscow earlier this year.
  • General Igor Kirillov died in late 2024 when a device concealed on a scooter was detonated remotely.

While a informant in the past linked Kirillov's death to Ukraine's security service, such assertions are rarely publicly admitted as a matter of official stance.

Hostilities has been marked by covert operations extending into the heart of the Russian capital.

The examination into General Sarvarov's death continues to be underway.
